BOOSTED LISTINGS - A NEW TOOL TO REACH MORE BUYERS
We’re always looking for ways to help sellers sell more easily with promotional tools like ‘Make Offer’, ‘Discounts’ and ‘Free Shipping’. With that in mind, we’ve launched Boosted Listings – a new tool to help promote, or ‘boost’ listings in search. Boosted Listings will empower sellers to reach more buyers by showing their listings to a wider audience. With more eyes on their listings, they’ll increase their chances of selling.
Boosted Listings Benefits
Boosted Listings can help Depop sellers to:
– clear inventory for a new season.
– shift items that don’t seem to sell.
– make more buyers aware of new listings on their shop.
How will Boosted Listings work?
Sellers are free to select the listings that they want to boost via ‘Boost listings’ in Selling Hub. Sellers’ boosted listings will be marked with a boosted icon throughout search, making them stand out alongside organic search results. Only a small proportion of search results will be dedicated to listings that are boosted.
What does it cost?
There are no upfront costs with Boosted Listings. When a boosted listing sells, we'll charge an 8% boosting fee on the total transaction amount (including shipping costs), in addition to Depop selling fees and transaction fees. Here’s the good part – sellers will only be charged the boosting fee if their item sells via a boosted tile in search. That means no sale via a boosted tile, no boosting fee.
This ‘no sale, no fee’ model without upfront costs means that Boosted Listings is available to all Depop sellers – no matter their budget.
